Mods digest: steel and water

Today we have some more interesting missions and hangars to review from several talented Enlisted authors!

Thanks to the mod editor, Enlisted is an endlessly scalable game, you can create a unique mission or even an entirely new location yourself, using thousands of objects from all of the game's campaigns.

The sand stings your eyes, death can hide behind every rusty pipe and the battlefield is layered! It's an abandoned factory in the middle of some godforsaken desert. A very impressive battlefield for one of the most popular custom modes.

The author of this mission always tries to make the locations as atmospheric and detailed as possible, and this time he keeps true to himself: this map, created from scratch, it's small, but very memorable!

These are the rules: kill as many as possible and become the first to complete all 15 stages with modern weapons.

You’d better not fall off the catwalks.

MISSION ON THE PORTAL

Hangar: At the bottom of the ocean by Dinosavr38

Let's move on to a less violent and more relaxing — an unusual and very detailed user hangar! Just a quick look at the first screenshot and you'll understand everything.

Well, yes, this is it. Thanks to Dinosavr38's efforts, we can visit three friendly neighbors. And no need to ask how the soldiers manage to breathe there.

Locations for viewing soldiers, vehicles and weapons are scattered across the bottom of the sea near the local landmarks. The inhabitants are not visible, so there is no one to ask about the secret ingredient.

The author did his best: for almost every game menu a unique location, filled with a lot of small details, was made. This is probably the first custom hangar that is both suitable for all countries and not suitable for Enlisted in general. Hahaha!

It's hard to believe that it took the author only three days. True fan.

Ooooohh… Where were we? Yeah, at the bottom of the sea ;)

HANGAR ON THE PORTAL

All authors whose work appeared at least once in our list of interesting mods have been awarded with a unique portrait of an engineer, additionally from this episode, they are also awarded with a gold weapon order!

You can get gold orders in the game multiple ways, but the portrait... It is simply impossible to get it otherwise. So if you meet such a player in battle, show them your respect. :)

Launch the missions

Every one of you can create your own mission, as well as launch any mission from the portal. Here’s a quick reminder how to launch one of these multiplayer missions.

Choose a mission you like on the Enlisted sandbox (Game Mods) portal and press COPY URL on its page.
In the game, open mode selection (above the START button) and choose “Custom matches”.
Press “Create Game” -> “Mods” and paste the URL you’ve previously copied.

Now you only need to customize the options, and you’re good to go — your server is in the list. Tell your friends to come, wait for other players to join or play by yourself.

Launch the hangar

In addition to launching a mission, every one of you can install a custom hangar and so replace the foggy background with something new! Below is a quick tutorial on how to do this:

Choose the hangar you are interested in on the Enlisted Sandbox (Hangars) portal and click DOWNLOAD on its card.
Place the downloaded file in the userGameMods folder, which is located in the game's folder. If the userGameMods folder is missing, then just create it.
Make sure that the file is named hangar.

Now all that's left is to run the game and enjoy the new look!
