Update "Operation Neptune"
Commanders, it is time to launch Operation Neptune! In the update, you will find a new map, improved effects and animations, a soldier filter, additional customization pieces, weapons and vehicles for your armies, plus a lot more!

The map draws inspiration from the Omaha and Sword beaches of the Normandy coast and the missions set there will offer you a wide variety of combat situations and intense battles, both while fighting on the heavily fortified beaches or in the urban areas.

As always, new unlocks await you in the research trees of each army, plus two premium anti-aircraft tanks to help you clear the skies and a unique premium Rider squad for Germany with medical gear and supplies! Additionally, the added soldier filter will help you set up your squads even faster than before and when it comes to personalizing them, the new customization pieces allow you to make them even more unique!

Animations also got improvements. Sprinting and switching between your guns are now more smooth and realistic, plus a number of weapons got their reload animations reworked too! Ground vehicles and aircraft received spectacular new effects, such as tank turrets being blown off after ammunition explosions and torn-off aircraft parts leaving smoke and fire trails, to make the battles even more immersive!
Along with the update, the Silver Chest also returns! From the release of the update until June 30th (13:00 UTC), the "Arsenal of the Far East" chest will be available in the shop with an updated list of rewards up to the Vienna offensive event, including the previously unavailable rewards from the Operation "The Gates of Destiny" event too.

- Fixed a bug where the camera would clip into the scope of the Springfield M1903A1 while aiming.

- Disabled the option to purchase bare hands when customizing soldiers. Purchased ones will be refunded with appearance change orders.

- Bullets fired from small arms now ricochet off armored vehicles.
- Added working hull machine guns to Tier 4 vehicles.
- Separated the customization options for Japanese vehicles into "Pacific War / Burma" and "The Far Eastern Front".
- Reduced the slowdown of wheeled vehicles in water.
- Improved the physics of blown-off aircraft parts.
- Adjusted the visuals of the cannon's recoil when firing.
- Fixed a bug where tank shells couldn't penetrate soldiers.
UI
- Added a new filter for soldiers in reserve.
- Added vehicle names to camouflages in the Silver Chest.
- Weapon attachments now show up correctly on the Battle Pass screen.
- Added a timer for event tasks.
Graphics
- Improved the shape, size and appearance of projectile tracers, depending on the caliber.
- Improved the explosion effects of bombs, tanks and artillery strikes.
- Added an explosion effect for aircraft destruction in air.
- Changed the antialiasing mode on PlayStation 4 to high quality Temporal Hyper Resolution.
- Changed the antialiasing mode on Xbox One to high quality Temporal Hyper Resolution, upscaling from 720p to 1080p.
- PlayStation 4 Pro now outputs a 4K image, rendering resolution is the same as before.
- Motion vectors are now used with all antialiasing modes. This fixes the ghosting on aircraft with high Global Illumination when using FXAA for example.
- Fixed a bug where tank tracks were missing in BVH.
- Merged the High Quality Volumetric Clouds and High Quality Volumetric Fog settings into their main settings (Cloud Quality and Fog Quality) as the "Movie" option and added a performance warning to them.
- Replaced the performance warning popup of the Supersampling Antialiasing with a new inline text.
- Fixed the shiny artifacts in RTR on the edges where two planes with perpendicular normals met (stairs for example).
- Improved the CPU performance when using ray tracing.
- Improved the explosion effects of tanks when their ammunition detonates.
- Added the ability for turrets to be blown off upon ammunition detonation.
- Adjusted the placement of flames on torches.
- Separated the effects of 20-60 mm shells into 20-40 mm and 40-60 mm ranges.
- Added additional effects when the armor of vehicles is penetrated.
- Improved the dust effects when hitting rocks.
- Improved the fire effects, they are now smoother.
- Added smoke and fire trails for blown-off aircraft parts.
- Fixed a bug that caused airplane cockpits to be excessively noisy with ray traced reflections.
