Reworking old locations: Seelow Heights

Our artists not only create new battlefields, but also improve existing ones based on your feedback! In the upcoming major update, you'll find that parts of the Seelow Heights location have been meticulously reworked: infantry and vehicle paths have been improved, cover and alternate routes to capture points have been added, the landscape has been adjusted, and infantry and vehicle spawn points have been tweaked. Check out the most notable improvements below!
River crossing
The "River crossing" capture point in the mission of the same name is one of the most challenging ones for the attacking team. Due to the abundance of open spaces and the need to swim across the river in some places, many soldiers simply couldn't reach it.

On the bridge, our artists removed a number of spots with direct line of sight and added more cover that soldiers of both teams could use to maneuver between. The river is now more shallow, making it much easier to wade across. If you don't want to get your soldiers' feet wet at all - you can use one of the new pontoon bridges.
Railway bridge
Another bridge in Seelow Heights, where attackers could easily get stuck. Due to the mostly flat terrain, sometimes just one tank with powerful high-explosive shells could hold this crossing.

Now the bridge is no longer an open area with a clear line of fire. The wrecks of knocked out tanks stuck on the tracks will allow you to cover the vulnerable points of your own vehicle.
Crossing the river itself has become easier - the broken wooden bridge has been repaired, the bank has been flattened, and the river itself has become so narrow and shallow that the most daring commanders can try to jump across it in some sections.

The newly added houses on the bank will provide cover for those who risk a longer detour to cross the river. Vegetation now also obstructs the view of enemy vehicles.
Along the embankment

Speaking about more general changes - destroyed vehicles, new cover and dense forests will be added along the railway. For Infantry, advancing will become less challenging, while vehicles will have to maneuver more and adapt to shorter engagement ranges more frequently.
Of course, in this devblog we've only covered the key changes to the location - but soon you'll be able to fully experience the work of our artists on the updated Seelow Heights in battles!
