Pre-order: "Jet Power" jet fighter squads

At the end of the war, these aircraft were the peak of aircraft design - they were among the first to fly with jet propulsion. Very soon you'll see them in the skies of Enlisted!

Let’s continue the introduction to the upcoming major update with impressively fast jet fighters - the German Me 262 A-1/U4 "Pulkzerstörer" and the American F-80A-5 "Shooting Star".

Me 262 A-1/U4

The German Messerschmitt 262 was the first jet aircraft to participate in combat operations and the second jet aircraft in history to go into production. It has a maximum speed of 865 km/h. The German industry managed to produce more than 1400 of these machines and used them against Allied aircraft until the final days of the war in Europe.

Before you is the most heavily armed variant, nicknamed the "Pulkzerstörer" or "Bomber Destroyer": its powerful 50 mm cannon with a total ammunition load of 32 shells can tear apart any enemy aircraft and even armored vehicles.

F-80A-5

The American "Shooting Star" started its service at the beginning of 1945 and by the end of the war about 83 machines were delivered to the fronts, which were used in test and reconnaissance flights. The aircraft was famous for its high speed - in 1947, one of its variants set a world air speed record of 1004.2 km/h. The earlier modification, which you’ll see in Enlisted, can accelerate up to 990 km/h.

The F-80A-5 can perform multiple roles in combat missions: its six 12.7 mm M2 Browning machine guns provide massive firepower, while the pair of 1000 lb bombs will help you destroy any target on the ground.
