We are introducing a new level of customization for your army - weapon skins!
The weapon color scheme will be applied to your existing weapon and will not change its characteristics. But it will make it look different, standing out in the crowd. Even more - each customized weapon unit can be equipped in other campaigns where this weapon model is used. After applying the customization skin, each campaign will automatically get a coloured weapon piece of this type.
NFT in Enlisted for true collectors
Most skins you can get in the Battle Pass rewards and special events, as well as in the customization chests in Logistics.
But apart from typical skins, Enlisted will also get completely new collectible types of them!
While working on this update, we read in many media and social-media groups that many modern video games really can’t exist without NFT-skins. We still didn’t understand what an NFT in games was, but just in case decided to introduce our own NFT-skins in Enlisted! Since we care a lot about giving our players what is important to them, what is in demand and to be on par with best market technologies.
In the illustrations in this announcement, you can see that “NFT” skins will be the most rare, interesting and eye-catching weapon-art masterpieces, produced in limited quantities.
Additionally, to make them even more valuable, we are working with leading art-exchanges and auction houses to start trading unique NFT-screenshots from Enlisted, where one can see NFT-skins in action. In future we also plan to create NFT from photos of our players holding printouts of our NFT-screenshots and other liquid derivatives.
Losing your decorated weapon in a battle
If you go into the battle with a decorated weapon and the soldier dies with it, the skin will remain on till the end of fight, even if the weapon is looted by another player.
But if your weapon is looted by an enemy soldier and they manage to survive with it till the end of fight, that player will get a copy of your skin and will be able to use it as well! So be careful not to drop your uniqueness around carelessly. And if you notice any enemy looting your team-mates weapon with skins - just shoot them.
Plus more - if a unique non-fungible weapon skin is looted the same way by an enemy and they survive, the very ownership of the skin is transferred. And the loser will, alas, lose the skin from their inventory. You will have to learn to be careful while owning such rarities. Or hunt down those who try to loot you.
